Today, Jyden Erhvervsbeklædning K/S, which was founded in 1923 by the Aalborg-based merchant C. A. Christensen and which has been a private limited company since 2003, is Denmark’s oldest manufacturer of workwear.
Originally it was the aim of the company to manufacture workwear of functional and hard-wearing materials for Danish workers. Today the brand name JYDEN is linked with quality workwear.

Since its foundation in 1923, the company has worked hard at constantly keeping abreast of development where quality, design and comfort are concerned.
New up-to-date workwear and image collections are continually designed and Jyden was the first European company to make workwear of polyester/cotton. A quality, that is used at all Danish hospitals today.

The company’s production facilities and its more than 60 employees at the factory in Aalborg as well as its production units in Poland and Vietnam enable at very short notice, to attend to very large as well as to very small orders. Be it for standard products that are on stock or for customised productions involving Jyden´s own design department.
